Jay Skelton, born in Dallas Texas and raised in Duncanville, he then graduated and served four years in the United States Marine Corps, where he was honorably discharged.  He then attended North Texas State University and later transferred to the University of Texas at Arlington, where he graduated with a B.S. in Political Science. Hired by the Dallas Fire Rescue where he served for twenty nine years. He retired in 2016. He has been married to Sheila for twenty six years and has three sons and one granddaughter.
With a pastor's heart heart for the body of Christ and continues to encourage all he comes in contact with. Jay continues to be active in the church, where he serves in the ministry proclaiming God’s Love and Grace by speaking engagements, jail ministry and is a member of the praise and worship team.
